Oops! I didn't take a picture of the back. lol
The last page is incomplete I am going to make sure that it doesn't take another two years to finish it.
I hope that one day my children and grandchildren will enjoy this book. I intend to start one for Sonny very soon. Right now I am working on an ABC book about Madison.

I have a few stamp set for sale, check back from time to time to see if I have any additional ones. First come first serve. If I have to mail them you will also have to pay shipping. Thanks I had a very busy weekend. Sonny and I spent most of Saturday shopping for a new trolling motor for the boat. We were hoping to find one in our price range (you know Cheap!), but we had to settle on one that cost more than that. lol We went fishing on the St. John's on Sunday. We fished for three hours and neither of us got a single bite. It was really too windy to be out on the water. I never took my rain poncho off. Oh well, no fish to clean so I decided to scrapbook when we got home.
Last week I found this scrapbook that I was working on about me. If you noticed, it says 2006, your right, it has been two years since I started this.
I had all the layout pages, and the journaling completed. All I had to do is transfer the journaling to the actual scrapbook pages and find pictures to put in it. I have finished everything except for the last couple of pages. I have to find more pictures and think of something profound to write on the last page. (That may take a while!)
I may have to break this up into two days blog. We'll see if it will upload.
This is page 2-3

page 8-9
Pull the tab..
Come back tomorrow to see more About Me!

I didn't even come in the house when I got home from work yesterday. Sonny was sitting on the porch reading, so I joined him and enjoyed the nice breeze that was blowing.
We decided to have breakfast for dinner. While Sonny cooked us some home fries, scrambled eggs and sausage, I finished this box of 3x3 note cards.
The designer paper is Afternoon Tea and the stamp set is called Make It Count.

Wednesday, March 26, 2008

I started reading Blood on the River, by Elisa Carbone. It's about an orphan that travels to the new world with Captain John Smith in 1607.
Sonny and I went to CFCC last night, so JP could practice a State Board haircut on him. JP had one of his teachers watch and instruct him on what will pass and fail. He said he learned a lot. Sonny's hair looks really good.
I have a journal for you this morning. I just love this color. I think I'll keep this journal for myself. I used the Garden Silhouettes stamp set, which is retired. There are several other sets that have a similar stamp in them. Bali Breeze is the name of the Stampin' Up designer paper that was used.
Good Morning! Bundle up before you head out today, it's 44 degrees here this morning. Last night was sisters night for Bonnie and I. We were the only ones to come out to play. Bonnie did a wonderful job on a 6x6 pocket folder. I completed a journal that I was working on and made one card. We did stop all production to have a strawberry shortcake. Here is the card that I made last night. I used rose red cs, the dp is from Provo craft. Label Classic and Warm Words are the stamp sets by Stampin' Up.

Tuesday, March 25, 2008

I didn't feel very good when I got home from work yesterday. I took some chewable tablets for my stomach and laid down for a while. I got up a ate just a little, but my stomach still didn't feel right. I did manage to get into my stamp room. I covered this 6x6 journal. The stamp set is from Stampin' Up. It's the new set called Pretty Peony. I love these large two-step flowers.

Happy Easter! I finally completed the canvas with Mattie's picture on it. I used chalk inks to color the canvas. I used stamps and rub-ons over the ink.

Friday, March 21, 2008

Helen came over again last night to work on the scrapbook. I was just cleaning up the kitchen after dinner. I fixed steak, mashed potatoes, and steamed broccoli. We completed another seven pages. I think we are finished. She needs to copy a few more pictures, but the pages are set-up for her. Here is another tin that I made for a friend. I love the colors on this one. Each one is so unique. I taught a class on how to do these a while back, and everyone loved how they turned out.

Thursday, March 20, 2008

A friend came over last night to work on a special scrapbook. She has never scrapbooked, stamped, or crafted, so I kinda took over. We did nine pages.... I think that was a record. I think it turned out great. She left around 11:00, and I cleaned up and headed to bed.
Here is a picture of three more sets of cards that I did. I have already given two of them away. These make the sweetest little gifts.

With Easter right around the corner, I made a little Easter basket for Madison. I took the picture of it next to my Mono Adhesive Runner so you can see how small it is. The basket itself is only 2" high and 2 1/4" wide. I used Stampin' Ups designer paper and the stamp set called A Beautiful Thing. This was so easy to make. I need to make a few more of them before Easter.

Tuesday, March 18, 2008

No stamping again last night. Here is another card created from a napkin. Cut out the image that you want to use. Brush Mod Podge on the back of the cut out image and adhere it to cardstock. Smooth out the front with more Mod Podge. Let it dry, then cut it to the size you want and create your card. I used the Voila stamp set by Stampin' Up with garden green and black cardstock.

Good Morning,
I'm sorry that I did not post an entry to my blog yesterday. Everyone around here has been sick. Poor little Madison has been the sickest. She had to go to the doctor Saturday, and they wouldn't let them leave with her until they got her fever down.
I didn't stamp any this weekend, but I cleaned off my work space and found this image that I had already stamped and water colored.
All I had to do was put it on a piece of cardstock and call it a card. hehehe

I am so glad that I am off today. We are meeting Matt and Candace for lunch. Today is my daughter-in-laws birthday. Happy Birthday, Candace! I will bring Catherine home with me, so they can go out tonight.
I made a guy card last night. I don't keep enough of these on-hand. I am forever looking for something suitable to give a man or boy. I used Stampin' Ups So Cool stamp set and Western Sky designer paper. I think the snaps down the right side really set it off.

Friday, March 14, 2008

We had a nice club meeting at Donna's house last night. Everyone loved the card box and set of four cards that we made for our project. There was a lot of talk of making more in the upcoming weeks. I can't wait to see them.
Well, here is the other card that I made Wednesday night. I used the Together Forever, All About U, and Pretty Petals sets by Stampin’ Up.

Thursday, March 13, 2008

I spent most of the evening getting ready for Thursday nights club meeting. The rest of my evening I spent cleaning and doing some laundry. I fixed steak and fried cabbage for dinner. Of course we had a bowl of that crab soup with it. I thought I was going to bust. Have you ever wanted to stamp and nothing turned out the way you planned? That was the kind of night I had last night. So, I turned to my CTMH catalog and came up with two lovely cards. On this one I used Stampin’ Up’s Doodle This, Cute Converse and Always sets.

Wednesday, March 12, 2008

Yesterday was the first day of FCAT testing. It seems like such a long day for me, I know it's a long day for the kids. I came home and made a big pot of crab soup. I'll be thinking about lunch all day today, just waiting to get into that soup. Yum!
This is a card that I made the other night using the Lavender Lace and Sky Blue color scheme. This is another stamp from the hostess stamp set called, A Little Bit of Happiness. This is one of those sets that I wasn't sure that I needed, but I'm glad that I have it. There are four stamps in the set, butterflies, flowers, hearts and leaves. It would be easy to cut out just a section to use separately also.
I want to send out a little reminder to my North Ocala Stampers Ten. We will meet this Thursday at Donna's house. Donna, I need the directions to your house ASAP. I need to get those out to everyone.

Tuesday, March 11, 2008

Last night was my Stamp Club meeting for my Ocala group. The card box with matching cards turned out beautiful. We must have finished early, because I was home around 8:00. Although, I did manage to leave one of my stamp cleaners there. If anyone picked it up please let me know. I won't have it for my Thursday night meeting, but I will at least know where it is.

I want to wish a happy anniversary to Aunt Myrna and Uncle Howard. I think it's fantastic that you have been together and shared so much for 51 years. I think that grants you the title of the family Love Birds. lol I wish you many, many more anniversaries to come.

Here is one of the March birthday cards that I made using the set, A Little Bit of Happiness. I water colored the stamped image with lavender lace, soft sky, and blue bayou.

Monday, March 10, 2008

I didn’t do anything yesterday. I relaxed, watched movies and took a nap. It was nice to have a do nothing day.
I needed some birthday cards for the month of March. I used one of the new hostess sets called A Little Bit of Happiness.
Another photo by Matthew.

Sunday, March 9, 2008

I finished the Build-a-Brad Bracelet that I had started. I used a rose shaped magnetic closure.
This is made from the brads in the Build-a-brad kit and the Rhinestone brads from Stampin' Up. I used a 1/2" circle punch with designer paper for the images on the larger brads. This would be cute done with your favorite photos. This was CASED from the design of Amanda Coughlin of Tampa, FL.

Saturday, March 8, 2008

What do you think of that wind. I'm not too sure I would want to drive in this stuff. If you are out in it today, please be careful.
I have another nugget box for you today. They are fun to make, and such a sweet little inexpensive gift. I used one of the current Hostess Gift sets called, For A Friend.
Catherine got the cutest little haircut recently. I wanted to share a few pictures of her.

Friday, March 7, 2008

A friend of mine plays poker every Thursday night. I made these cards for him. Hopefully, they will provide him with good luck. I followed the directions by Leslie Miller, using the same stamp set that she used. I had some trouble with the scoring measurements and had to start over three times. Finally, I made up my own measurements. I need to give the cards just a little more room. The cards fit in the box, but it's tight. I used the Lexicon of Love set, (retired Stampin’ Up) and stickers. I had to cut the stickers to fit on the back of the card box. No ribbon, it's a guy thing.

Thursday, March 6, 2008

I stamped a quick card using up some of the scraps from the other night. Simple and cute, just the way I like them. Many of you have asked about our club meeting. We will move it up one week so that people can take advantage of the Sale-A-Bration. Lynn you are the hostess for Monday nights club meeting at Priceless on the 10th. Thursday night’s club will meet next week on the 13th. I will get more information out to you ASAP.
Another or Matt's photos. Don't you just love mother nature?

Wednesday, March 5, 2008

I went to Bonnie's house for sister's night. Bonnie and Patti were working hard when I arrived. We didn't stamp much. We had to prep this months club projects. I did manage to whip out a little nugget box before I left for home. I finished it up this morning. It turned out kinda' cute. I used one of the Sale-A-Bration sets called So Many Scallops. You are going to love this set. There are so many possibilities for using it.
Here is another one of Matt's Florida nature photos.

Before I go, I want to share one of my son's nature photos with you. This was taken at one of the National Parks in Tampa.

Sunday was such a beautiful day. I hope you all took time to go out and enjoy the sunshine. Sonny and I took Madison fishing at Dad's. She had a great time pulling in the Brim. JP and Tammy came over later and fished with us. They caught 30 fish and JP and Tammy took them home to cook for dinner. Now! That was a platter of fish. I made this card box and card set after dinner. I came across this set by Sharon Johnson Saturday while I was browsing the Internet. It was quick and easy. The hardest part was tying floss in the buttons. I guess I could have skipped that part. I used the Happy Everything set by Stampin' Up.
